Project Summary

Foote Creek I sits atop a ridge in McFadden, Wyoming — one of the windiest areas of the country. The wind farm’s 69 existing turbines needed decommissioning and demolition, which we accomplished by taking each down piece by piece due to environmental concerns on the land. We then repowered the wind farm by replacing these turbines with 10 Vestas V136 and 3 Vestas V110. Close attention was paid at every step of the project to ensure the ground was not contaminated in the process.
