Project Summary

Point Wind sits atop a ridge in the Tehachapi Mountains of California. We were tasked with the erection of turbines and wiring to the towers. Due to the small pad areas with little room for staging, a just-in-time delivery method was used for erection of the turbine components on each pad. The turbine parts were staged in a laydown yard below the ridge and brought up piece by piece during the erection sequence.
